FAQ’s:

  • If we join in the middle of the season, can my dancer participate in recital?

    • Yes! Dancers have the option to opt in to recital through March 1st.* We will also have an opening production number which every dancer has the option to participate in, regardless of how long they have been part of our dance season. The rehearsals take place on weekends in April and May.

    • *If we are able to process a costume order in time. After March 1st class recital participation may depend on costume availability and/or incur an expedited shipping fee.

  • When does automatic payment process?

    • TEMPO processes tuition on the 25th of each month prior. For example, September tuition is processed on August 25th. Starting Season 26-27 we will post tuition on the 25th of each month and automatically process payment on the 1st of every month. After registration, your first tuition payment will begin September 1st.

  • Can I pay via cash or venmo?

    • At this time we are not able to accept cash or venmo payments.

  • Do you offer a sibling or multi-class discount?

    • Each class program has a class package rate. For early childhood dancers we offer a 2 class pack. For our Training Track programs, we offer a full package (track + boosters + acro) price. Dance Explorations does not have a class pack option. Dance Explorers interested in multiple class styles are encouraged to participate in a training track.

  • What is your dress code?

    • TEMPO believes strongly in respecting the art of dance through proper dress code. For this reason, we require a leotard and tights for all of our 2.5-18yrs dance students regardless of age or class style. Dance Fitness participants are welcome to dress in any comfortable clothing but we do still ask for bellies and booties to stay covered.   • I am not sure what level or class is best suited for my child, can you help?

    • We would love to! Please text us at 662 314 4830 and tell us a little more about your dancer’s background like age, style interest, previous experience. Our customer support staff will be happy to point you in the right direction.

  • Do you offer a competitive dance program?

    • TEMPO Dance Studio firmly believes in dancing for and with our local community. We offer TEAM TEMPO, a performing arts and community enrichment program open to all TEMPO Track dancers. Dancers may join Team Tempo at the start of the season and performance and team opportunities will be announced.

TEMPO Dance Studio is happy to offer year round enrollment. Below are registration steps and FAQ’s to help you get set up.

  1. Create an account through TEMPO’s studio portal - here. You may also access our studio portal via the “Register Here” page on our website.

  2. Once your account has been created, select “Register, Classes.”

  3. Select dance season 2026-2027, Summer 2026 or 2025-2026.

  4. Classes available for your student will populate based on their age. If a class is full, you will have the option to add them to our waitlist.

  5. Once your class has been selected, the system will prompt you to complete payment. All fall/spring TEMPO students are required to keep a card on file for automatic monthly payments. (Summer classes do not require auto pay.)

  6. New student registration costs $50 per fall/spring season. Tuition for your classes will automatically prorate based on the date you join.

  7. Once payment is complete, you will receive a confirmation notice that your dancer has been enrolled in class. First month tuition and registration fees are due at the time of checkout to secure your spot.
